Ten Tips To Simply Increase Sales

Writen by Tim Hagen

Increasing sales seems to be such a simple concept, yet so many organizations have a hard time tackling it. Managers don't have the time to micromanage and reps frequently lack the time management and motivation to get the organizational objectives accomplished. There are some very basic ways that you can impact the bottom line on an everyday basis.

First, offer to write exclusive articles (that means you only submit them to one place) for high traffic web sites in exchange for a link back to your site. This will give you visibility and also builds credibility and positions you as an expert.

Second, create a positive online image. Tell your visitors about fundraisers or events you have sponsored or that you donate a part of your profits to charity. People enjoy knowing that they helped in a greater cause or objective.

Third, improve your customer service on a regular basis. Try out new technologies that make it easier to communicate with your customers over the web. If customers have the ability to order your products/services over the web versus making a phone call, you will probably receive more orders. Make the process simple for them and they won't mind doing it!

Fourth, ask your customers what they would like to see offered by your business in the future. This type of information can boost your sales. Online customer surveys would be a great example of this, ask customers for feedback on how your product/services could be improved to better fit their needs. Surveys also allow you to get a picture of how well your product/service is being delivered.

Fifth, make sure your web host isn't losing your sales. If you get an e-mail from someone that told you that they couldn't access your site, it might be your host. Having a good reliable web site is a MUST and is essential to building sales!

Sixth, allow your visitors experience to be an enjoyable one at your web site. Provide easy navigation, good content, fast loading graphics, search options, etc. Think of what you like to see when you go out to a website, being user friendly is essential.

Seventh, keep changing or adding freebies to your website. If people see the same freebie in your ads they will say to themselves, "been there done that". In addition, this allows clients to get a taste of new products/services that you provide and may peak their interest to look further into your offerings.

Eighth, add a directory to your web site. When visitors submit their web site, e-mail them confirming their link has been added and remind them to revisit.

Ninth, organize your marketing and advertising into a plan. Create a list of daily, weekly, monthly and all other future promotional plans. This will allow your marketing efforts to constantly be in use and literally selling for you when you are sleeping.

Tenth, trade links only with web sites that your target audience or yourself would visit. They should offer their visitors valuable content or freebies. Once again, this encourages people to come back and continue to visit and gives visibility to your different offerings.

In summary, by offering your products/services in a variety of different formats, you will be received by numerous different audiences. The key is to try different angles and find out what is successful for your particular business. Just when you may think you've looked at every angle, the market may change and require you to try new strategies. By thinking "outside the box" you will continue to establish your presence and increase sales by getting your message out in a variety of mediums.

The Toughest Click

Writen by Will Edwards

Do you know what is the toughest click or, in other words, do you know which click is the hardest one to get your visitor to make? The toughest click is the one that leads to your payment processor!

You can get traffic easy enough. Sure it takes a bit of time and effort with SEO, traffic exchanges, articles, PPC or whatever is your chosen method, but the click that is the most important – the one that actually earns you money – is indeed the hardest one for you to get! You know that, of course; and you don't need me to tell you. But that said, how on Earth do you actually go about getting people to click your order button?

Well, you know it's all about copywriting and the good old sales letter don't you? The problem is that there are so many other people out there who have all read the same books on the subject; and so all of their sales pages are almost identical. You know the format – the benefit-laden headline, the testimonials, proof of earnings, guarantee, call to action. Yes – you know it – but is it working for YOU?

There are many sales pages that take this format & do work very well but most of them do NOT work! Why? Because the reader is simply tired of seeing the same old format trotted out time-after-time. Just take the headlines as an example. Aren't you tired of seeing copy that begins … "Who Else Wants To …" or "How a 60 Year-Old Granny with No Experience …" blah – blah – blah!

After the headline, you get the almost compulsory "From the Desk of …" or "Dear Internet Friend …" – we could go on, but you get the message. There is nothing wrong with these approaches per se; what is wrong is that they are over-done. The product-buying internet user you are trying to entice – is heartedly sick and tired of them!

No one said it had to be that way. Sometime, someone wrote a good book about internet marketing suggesting these details; and now it has become a tradition! Seasoned internet marketers will, no doubt, disagree: they will say their sales pages have been 'tested' and found to convert well. The problem is, in many cases, they have been testing one out-dated convention against another.

What then am I proposing? I am suggesting that you dig deep into your creative mind to come up with a new format for your sales page. One that engages and entertains the reader; one that uses advanced subliminal techniques - that fly beneath the perception 'radar' of the visitor – to underpin your message. One that drives the visitor to the order button because it is the logical conclusion of reading your copy. One that actually wins the Toughest Click – the one that leads to your payment processor.

Can YOU do it? Yes – absolutely you can – if you are prepared to throw away convention and start thinking outside the box. The time is right for a new approach in internet marketing; the time is right for you and I to create our future.

Is Google Adsense The Easiest Money To Be Had

Writen by Ivan Kelly

With Google Adsense, there is an enormous opportunity to earn an income from your web pages. Yet there is also the possibility of someone taking unfair advantage of this "easy money" process. If you think about it, some of the negative factors may force Google to introduce major changes. If that happens, people would have to return to the old ways of internet marketing; methods that are much harder for generating revenue online than Adsense.

For now, however, Google Adsense is with us. As long as there are people wanting to earn some easy cash online just using their talents, the future is looking good. Besides, with all the strict guidelines that Google has been enforcing with their Adsense affiliates, it would take awhile for the Adsense privileges to be so widely abused they would be terminated.

With so many people getting online and clicking away everyday, it's no wonder Google Adsense has become an instant hit.

Those who are new to this market might feel a little irked knowing that their homepage is buried somewhere in the little ads promoting other people's services. But when they realize that they are actually earning more money that way, doubts and skepticism are laid to rest.

Some successful webmaster and publishers are learning to blend together at least two major, and clever, factors to make money easier using Adsense.

1. They place Adsense links on pages that are producing little, or better yet, no profit. For instance, by placing Adsense on a free resources page, you will reduce the number of potential customers being lost to other sites. Tricky, but effective nonetheless.

2. They target high traffic pages on the website. If you check your logs, you will discover that many of your visitors use the free affiliate marketing resources and ebooks that you are offering on your site. This is an opportunity. In simple words, your ads can be presented on these pages where they'll work effectively by generating more clicks. This means income for you.

When working effectively, these factors are actually a good source of producing revenue from a high traffic page. Many people are using this strategy to pick up some extra cash with Adsense. It is also especially rewarding for informational sites with a lot of content that focus their efforts on delivering powerful affiliate link free material to their visitors. Now they can gain a monetary return on their services.

With so many people trying to make easy money with Adsense, it isn't surprising that Google is trying to update and polish their Adsense procedures and try to maintain a good image.

So there is a possibility of adding a 2nd affiliate tier in Adsense. With so many people involved in in Adsense now, and still more entering this line of marketing, there is no doubt many improvements will emerge. Imagine the smiles on the faces of the webmasters and publishers all around the world if they can sign up sub-affiliates and double or even triple the amount that they are already earning!

One particularly handy money-making feature that is already available with Adsense is the ability to filter out up to 200 urls. This gives webmasters the option of blocking low paying advertising and competitors from their pages. Naturally, webmasters will keep elements that are advantageous and discard those that seem less attractive.

Recently, Google Adsense has dominated forums, discussions and newsletters all over the Internet. Already, there are tales of fabulous riches to be had and millions made by those who are just working from home. It seems that Google Adsense is beginning to dominate internet marketing and is now considered the easiest way to making money online.

The key to success with Adsense is the placing of ads on pages that are receiving high traffic for high demand keywords. The higher the cost-per-click to the advertiser, the more you will receive per click from your site. Obviously, it does not pay to target low cost-per-click keywords and place them on pages that do not receive hits. Marketers are refining their strategies to enable them to receive higher paying advertising on their active web pages.
