Collective Courtesy

Writen by Tim Whiston

I don't know what you are promoting, or what methods you prefer, but I'll bet I know one thing for sure. When you post an ad, display a banner, or enter your site into a traffic rotation, you want people to take the time to look at your offer.

The question is, are you taking the time to extend this same courtesy to your fellow netpreneurs? Or, are you one of those people who:

-Uses special software to cheat manual traffic exchanges

-Uses a mailbox cleaner to avoid reading any of the ads your fellow safelisters send you

-Hides the banner exchange code where noone can see it

Too many networkers try to "beat the system" by taking, but never giving. What if everyone had this attitude? What would be the point of networking, if nobody read the ads we posted, viewed our sites on the exchange circuit, or payed any attention to our banners?

More importantly, how can those of us who want to succeed do so with an ever growing "cheat trend"? The answer, I believe, is to express the same kind of consideration we want for ourselves toward others.

Near the close of the 19th century, a small group of biologists gathered on an island near Japan to study the habits of the local ape population. During the course of their observations, these scientists took note of an unexplainable phenomenon later dubbed "The 100th Monkey Syndrome".

The short version of this story is this: According to the records kept by these biologists, once a certain number of apes were taught a particular behavior, a "critical mass" was reached, and all other apes on the island, whether they had been exposed to the new behavior or not, immediatley adopted the knowledge taught to the original group. In essence, it has been proven that a collective effort to learn can and does affect every member of a given society.

If a group of primates has this wonderful ability to draw from a collective intention, surely we can do the same. By having a positive attitude, and treating other people's efforts with the same respect we feel entitled to, we can improve everyone's chances of success. :o)

Two Steps To Becoming An Internet Marketing Celebrity

Writen by Joseph Pattison

Would you like to rank with the Joe Vitales and Ken Evoys of the World Wide Web? Then do the same things they've done! Here is an easy-to-follow outline for doing just that.

1. What is your Unique Selling Proposition, or USP?

Create an innovation in the marketplace. Differentiate your product line. You don't even need to compete with other Internet marketers! Just create something of great value that ingratiates people to you. Overdeliver and overdeliver and overdeliver some more, and people will be afraid not to take advantage of your future offers.

What is your niche? It's actually fun to come up with new Internet marketing ideas. And trust me, it's easy to become miserable when all of your efforts are focused on creating a product that's the exact same as everyone else's.

Does your innovation excite you? If so, chances are it may excite others as well. Use surveys and ask people questions in Internet marketing forums to see what they think, without totally giving away your ideas.

What products and services aren't other Internet marketers providing that you could begin offering? What holes are present that need to be filled?

Your ability to help others succeed is in direct proportion to how successful you will be.

2. Brand yourself by differentiating your products and service by name.

For example, Joe Vitale's website is 'mrfire.com'. Ken Evoy's Sitesell line of products, such as Make Your Knowledge Sell and Make Your Words Sell, differentiate him from everyone else on the Internet.

If you are marketing a new search engine optimization information product, which is a better name: Search Engine Cash Flow, or Search Engine Secrets?

Say, after creating this information product, you would like to create an ebook about creative link exchange methods. You could name this ebook Link Exchange Cash Flow. Do you see how you can now create an entire "Cash Flow" line of products, and that whenever someone sees a product with the words "Cash Flow" they will automatically think of you?

As you gain more and more recognition, the need for a Unique Selling Proposition will be less and less important. Stephen King has more freedom to write about anything he likes than he did starting out.

Apply this to your own Internet marketing campaign. As you grow more successful, you will have more latitude than most Internet marketers, and people will listen to your message simply because of who you are. Have fun building your Internet marketing empire!

Free Advertising Methods For An Internet Business

Writen by Donny Lowy

Although it is crucial to advertise your online business, this does not mean that you need to go bankrupt in the process.

There are many techniques that allow you to advertise your site for free.

While most online business owners are familiar with how to spend money to advertise, few understand how to promote their businesses for free.

Before I explain what some of these free advertising techniques are I want to make it clear that they cannot replace the power of paid for advertising.

The reason being because paid fpr advertising can produce immediate results, and can be controlled.

You as the advertiser can decide how much traffic you want your site to receive, and how much you are willing to pay for that traffic.

But this does not meant that you cannot benefit from free online advertising.

I am sure you can see that the customers you receive from free advertising are more profitable to you than customers who came as a result of paid advertising.

The profit you earn on sales to them does not have any advertising expenses subtracted, so the net profit is higher.

Among the free online advertising techniques you can use are, destination sites.

Destination sites are sites where your potential customers visit to look for information. You can supply information to these sites in return for listing you as a source of that information. This technique will give you traffic from customers who are eagerly looking for your product or service.

Another free advertising technique is starting a forum covering your market. By being the moderator of this forum you can interact with potential customers without having to coax them to your site.

Lastly, you should post messages at forums that cover your market. Make sure your posts are relevant and display your level of knowledge.

If you are able to clearly convey your expertise you will have potential customers contacting you to find more about your products and services.

Donny Lowy has set up http://www.billionfreeads.com to show entrepreneurs how to advertise for free.

How To Find Good Copywriters For Your Internet Marketing Business

Writen by Michael Senoff

Whenever someone asks me about where and how to find good copywriters for their online promotions, I always give them the same advice that I myself follow.

First thing I tell them is to stay away from the auction copywriting services. You're not going to get the best copywriters on there. You are going to find people who can maybe sell themselves, but can't sell anything for you.

They bid on price and they are mainly appealing only to price shoppers.

I recently interviewed copywriting legend Bob Bly and he put it to me this way:

Imagine you need brain surgery. You have three choices:

1.) The best brain surgeon in the world -- who costs $100,000

2.) Brain-Surgeon's-R-US -- will only charge you $50 to do your brain surgery.

Who are you going to hire?

And it's the same with copywriting.

This is your business and your life. This is your bread and butter. This is what is going to give you freedom of time and money.

Don't entrust the most important part to anyone who is not the best.

Think about it this way:

If you've got a product that can sell for $400 or $500, even if you spend $10,000 on a copywriter, isn't it worth it to invest the money?

And if you don't have a lot of funds, you can learn how to be a good copywriter (or, at least, good enough) yourself fairly quickly.

Go to the search engines and find out who the best copywriters are and study everything they have. Take a month or two to immerse yourself in what they say to do. When you're done, you'll be able to write copy that makes money.

Believe me, whether you hire a copywriter or learn to do it yourself, it's worth whatever time and money you put into it to get it right.

How To Make Full Use Of Your Master Resell Rights Product

Writen by Izrul Fizal

Having the Master Resell Rights means that you don't have to spend weeks or months creating your own product to sell. In addition, you don't have to spend time writing Sales Letter and follow-up email messages from scratch. You have cut short your setting up time by weeks or months.

You have a great product with full Master Resell Rights, sell it to one customer, keep 100% of all the money, and the process went on and on, if you keep doing your promotion.

The power in Master Resell Rights product is when your own customers become a Reseller themselves. Their customers can also do the same thing, as well as their customers and so on. You will be creating an army of Resellers from your own website in an instant.

Although you get to keep all the profit, the money will only stop flowing in your bank account once you stop your marketing effort. This is just the same as promoting any affiliate programs. Then what is the use to have your own Master Resell Rights product in the first place? How to make your one time sale turn into recurring income?

The secret lies in your Web Hosting Account.

Why? Simply because once you have become a Reseller of any product, or you want to try out any Internet Business, you will need to set up your own website, Sequential Auto Responder System, Contacts Database, Pop-Up Window, Hosting Account, and so on.

It really sounds like a lot of hard work. But if you manage to have a Web Hosting Account that provide all the above, and that if your Customers who want to be Resellers (or do another Internet Business) were to go to the same place, you will be paid a commission on your Customers' hosting fees, as well as your Customers' Customers' hosting fees, and your Customers' Customers' hosting fees, down to multiple level deep.

In other words, you're going to be paying for hosting anyway, so why not get a host that comes with practically everything (Contacts Database Software, Sequential Auto Responder System, Pop-Up Window Generator, Fast Track Team, and many other more) you will need to get going quickly and effectively in one place that also PAYS YOU BACK for your referrals and your Customers' referrals to it down to multiple level deep?

Think about what you will be getting. A 100% full profit on your Master Resell Rights product and recurring commissions from your Web Hosting Account. We are not talking about $100 or $200 per month, but up to $10000 per month. Yes, you can get this much money every month once you and your Customers have become a successful Reseller. The potential on how much money you will make is just limitless.

You may need 5 to 6 months to achieve your 5-figure income being a Solo Reseller, but if you have multiple Resellers under you, it may takes only weeks to achieve the 5-figure income that you always dreamed about.

There are several free Web Hosting Account on the Internet that you can use but it will not fatten your bank account gradually. By using the free account, you simply do not make full use of your Master Resell Rights product.

So therefore, it is up to you as Internet Marketers to decide which one is the best for you to reach your goals and dreams in shortest period of time. If you really want to leverage on your Master Resell Rights product and be on your way to financial freedom, all you need to do is take this one simple step by getting a great Web Hosting Account.

Business Joint Ventures On The Net

Writen by Benjamin Scott

The term business joint ventures refer to two independent companies or more who agree to establish a new company. These companies legally commit themselves to contribute equity for the new company, as well as share their technology and skills. In return, they share both profits or losses and control over this organization. A joint venture can be executed for a limited period or a continuos period.

Business joint ventures have become the latest and most viable business model for many online companies because of the following reasons: Globalization has opened a world of possibilities, where different languages and cultures are no longer barriers. Today international travel has become the norm.

The other reason is the internet. The net has leveled the playing field. It has also made the use of technology have the winning business edge. These companies see business joint ventures as the next logical direction their organizations must take, if they are to remain competitive and profitable.

Do you own a profitable online business? Are you wondering what's next? Consider then, the many benefits a business joint venture can provide you.

First, with a business joint venture, you'll gain access to other markets. This will then open additional or bigger streams of profits for you.

Second - Think of the synergies you create in the business joint venture. All of the partners benefit from the exchanges of information, such as access to modern managerial practices and the brain power of your manpower.

However, you must be diligent in picking the right partners. It has to be a win-win situation for all of you. Choose partners who complement your strengths. Partners who'll share resources you do not have and can benefit from.

Third – Diversification, which means that by agreeing to a business joint venture, you'll be spreading the costs and risks thereby minimizing negative impacts.

Fourth – By entering a business joint venture, you'll get better access to financial resources.

Fifth - By establishing a business joint venture, the partners stave off competition from other companies, and strengthen their position in the industry.

How are business joint ventures created? Typically, forging of joint ventures agreements are determined by the following factors. The nature and the size of the planned enterprise. The length of commitment – will it be for a specific period? Or have the life of a corporation? Another factor, concerns the identities of the participants and regions in which their business operates. Lastly, the commercial and financial goals of all the participants and the method in which this shall settled.

Are there any negatives in establishing a business joint venture? As long as all the terms and conditions of the venture are carefully set out, there is no reason for it to fail.

A business joint venture provides you all the benefits of joining forces with other companies. Yet, you retain full control over your company. The best of both worlds can be found in a business joint venture.

Simple Internet Marketing Secret Lets You Make Money Fast Online

Writen by Michael Senoff

I'm a huge fan of using Internet audio interviews with experts to sell products and services online.

Not only does it radically boost the response of your sales letters, but it bonds you to your customers in a way where they feel they know you personally. You are not just a marketing guy trying to take their money. You are a friend, a consultant and an advisor.

However, what many people I talk to have trouble with is finding experts to interview. Where do they look? How do you even know if someone is truly an "expert?"

Well, one way to find them -- and this may not apply to every industry, but it does to many -- is to check contests.

For example, say you are wanting to sell to people who love to barbeque and want to be great at it.

Well, there are thousands of contests every year around the world with people competing to see who can make the best barbeque.

And all you'd need to do is find a bunch of these contests or trade shows for barbeque sauce or barbeque food, and get the program guides from the previous years. In the program guides are all the exhibitors with their names, websites, phone numbers and contact information.

All you have to do is call them up and say, "I want to do an interview with you. I'm creating an information product on the world's greatest barbeque sauce and would love to interview you on a few of your secrets."

And what you do is interview 20 of the best ones. Tell them they can feature their restaurants or websites, all that. That they can plug their business and it's free publicity.

And that's it.

You don't need to do anything more than that. Some of them may have an ego or not want to do it, but many of them will.

Why?

Because people love to talk about their passion. And when you interview them, you simply start giving them an excuse to start talking about what they love to do.

And make no mistake, you can do this for almost anything. I have done this with dozens upon dozens of different niches, markets and businesses.

You can, too. You can start making money online very fast simply finding experts like this and using and/or selling your interviews with them.

Competing Against Big Budget Web Sites Is Easier Than You Think

Writen by Rick Vidallon

Take The Low Hanging Search Engine Fruit

Millions of Web sites are elbowing each other every day for search engine position. Many of them belong to big businesses with big marketing budgets. How do you compete with that? By grabbing some of the lower hanging search engine fruit they're too big and busy to notice. Our company, Visionefx, is located in Virginia Beach, Virginia and helps businesses in all Hampton Roads cities to rank high among major search engines. One of our methods is to collect quality content for our clients' Web sites. The content can be regional or local, and we recommend using as much as you can. If you sell lady's jewelry, talk about local jewelry shows, local trade shows, fashion shows and events. Don't know of any events? Try calling the Convention Center in your city or check out their web site. Another great resource is your regional newspaper or online newspaper web site. Quality content is king!

Utilize Local and Regional Search Engine Listings

If you have a business in Virginia Beach or any other Hampton Roads city such as Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake or Suffolk, get a local listing in Google. Yahoo offers local listings as well. To see how local results differ from general results go to Google and type "Web design in virginia beach". At the top of the page you'll see "Local results for Web design near Virginia Beach, VA". If you click this link you'll see 9 to 10 companies listed for Virginia Beach, VA. This type of list is very popular and powerful when it comes to consumers looking for services or products on the Web.

Get Results With Regional Listings

Customers prefer doing business with local businesses. But you need to rank high in their Web search, or you'll be buried on page 10, where few customers tread. How do you get there? Sprinkle your Web site with the correct keywords. If you're a Virginia mortgage company, figure out how customers will search for mortgage services or loans over the Internet if they live in Virginia. Will they type, "loan companies in Virginia", "Virginia mortgage companies" or "mortgage loans in Virginia"? One good way to know what phrases people are using to search for your product, service, issue or cause is through the Google Suggest Tool. Not many users, including search engine professionals, know about this great Google tool. But it works and it's a great tool for getting into the consumer's mind. It is located on Google under 'Google Labs/ Suggest in the left hand column.

All Politics Is Local -- So Is Good Web Site Content

If a business with a Web site in Hampton Roads is based in Virginia Beach, then it's a good idea to tighten your Web site copy and keywords to contain the words "Virginia Beach". But make sure you walk the fine line between legitimate use and overabundance. Search engines will spot the later and ignore your site. Your success or search engine position will also depend on the competitiveness of your business. For example, "firewood in Virginia Beach" versus "dentists in Virginia Beach".

Write For Visitors - Not Search Engines

There is no magic formula or special software to get you listed at the top of search engine results. However, there is a golden rule that will do the trick -- Content is King. Good content generates great search engine results - period. So go ahead and chat it up, tell people what you do, what you sell, what you provide. Talk about your competition. Yes, you heard me right. But make sure you're doing this in a way that "informs" your Web site visitors instead of intentionally piggy-backing on the popularity of another Web site. Case in point - Virginia Oncology Associates has an extremely content-rich Web site. On their research pages they mention the "Sarah Cannon Cancer Center" regarding on-going clinical trials. If you type "Sarah Cannon Cancer Center" in Google you get a first page, first position result for Virginia Oncology for the corresponding page; (www.virginiacancer.com/research.asp). Now take a look at their search engine results in Google. Not bad search results for Google. They also get the same results in Yahoo, MSN, AOL and Ask Jeeves. Be careful when you're using a competitor's name. For example, if you're a moving company based in Virginia Beach and you fill your Web pages with name-brand, popular moving companies in Virginia Beach, Virginia for no other reason than to ride on their popularity in the search engines, you could get penalized by the search engines. Remember, it's all about relevant content - relevant to your Web site.

Going Passive Increases Search Phrase Optimization

You can never tell how potential customers are going to find your Web site. I call this "passive search phrase optimization". This is when users visit your Web site while they were searching for something else. Case in point: Rourk Public Relations has a section on their Web site titled NEWSROOM. The article under the newsroom titled "What Does Your Image Communicate", contains tips about professional business attire, presenting a polished and powerful appearance for men and women, and so on. One phrase in the article is, "best quality gabardine suit". Go to Google and search the phrase "best quality gabardine suit". Rourk Public Relations is on the first page, fourth listing. This is "passive search phrase optimization".

Optimize Web Site Headings Too

Another way to optimize your Web site is to use your keywords in headings, subtitles, page titles (found in the blue bar at the top of your Web browser), bold face and hyperlinks, because these stand out to the search engines. For example, a local Visionefx real estate Web site client Charlie Laurens and Associates had a page file titled "our team.asp". We changed this to "virginiabeach-realestate-team.asp". Their page title is "Virginia Beach Real Estate Services Virginia".

How To Be visible

Many Web sites were built by hobbyists or built with old software that is no longer recognized by today's sophisticated search engines. That means these Web sites are "invisible" to major search engines, which means thousands of "eyes on screens" will be looking at someone else's product, service, issue or cause. I went to Google and searched "plumbing company in virginia beach". I did not find any local plumbing Web site results on the first or second pages. What does this tell me? It says there is not one single plumbing company in the city of Virginia Beach that has a Web site that is properly optimized. It also tells me that there are not very many (if any) Web sites for plumbing in Virginia Beach. Too bad, a small plumbing business could rule local search in the major search engines for "plumbing". Try this with search terms related to jewelry, real estate or auto sales and the results will be much different.

Web Sites Don't Cost, They Pay

If you provide services or products in Virginia, Virginia Beach or other Hampton Roads cities and you don't have a Web site, get one. It is quickly becoming the primary way our younger, as well as our middle-aged, generation search for information, products and services. To find a professional Web design company, shop around and request quotes. A bulleted list of what you want your site to do will be helpful in your search. Submit this via email to a Web design company in your area and comparison shop.

The Truth Behind Guaranteed Sign Ups

Writen by Joseph Then

I've got a confession to make... I have been into guaranteed sign ups business for a long time but I realised many people do not know how sign ups really work.

In short, there is two ways: The correct way and the incorrect way. :)

If you want to know how guaranteed sign ups work, here's how it works.

First the incorrect way:

There is a company that "hires" over thousand of people as their member and they are all "PAID TO SIGN UP". In short, this company pays $0.10 to $0.15 per sign up to a member. As long as the member finishes the sign up task, he is paid $0.10.

What does that mean? It means that these sign ups are NON-MOTIVATED sign ups. They sign up for the purpose of making that $0.10 money.

Can you imagine your business getting this kind of sign ups? What good will it do to your business?

This is by far the MOST popular method on the Internet and it is the most ineffective way to grow a downline business.

Now for the second method. This is the correct one:

The company generates leads that are: 1) Opted-in leads 2) Express an interest in joining an online business

The company receives the leads and informs them that they are going to join an online MLM company and a representative of that company will be contacting them.

Next, their information will be entered into the targeted MLM company and will become a downline.

This is a much better method because:

1) The leads are more responsive
2) The leads DO express interest in joining an online business

So which method are you interested in? Remember that there is a saying: "Marketing is a numbers game". Would you like to get 1000s of "paid to join" members who have NO INTEREST in your business?

Or would you like to get 100s of interested members in your downline, with a higher chance of becoming your active downline?

Joseph Then operates Sign ups company that helps thousands of online MLM marketers increase their downline for the past 5 years. They have served over 3,000 customers with over 50% as repeat customers. You can visit the site at http://www.trafficforless.com

Sell Yourself Not Your Products Or Services

Writen by Bill Platt

Sell yourself, not your products or services. The point we need to make is that your products and services will change over time as your business adapts to the realities of the marketplace.

If you spend your time promoting Product A and then you discontinue the sale of Product A, you will suddenly find yourself starting over from scratch with nothing to show for all of your previous work!

For as long as you remain on this planet, you will always be. No matter the course of your product or service line, selling yourself first and then your products will give you the leverage to remain flexible in your business journeys.

If your primary products are affiliate programs, you should be able to see this quite well.

How many times have you been involved with an affiliate program that either changed their rules for operation to your disadvantage or simply went out of business? How many times have you seen your hard work go down the drain by no fault of your own?

Selling yourself may seem a challenge, but it really is not that difficult.

In the matter of selling yourself, your goal is to create name recognition in the market place. You need for name recognition for your website, your own name or both.

There are five methods that work very well for promoting your online business. Those five methods are:

1. Submitting your website to Search Engines
2. Developing your own Ezine
3. Ezine Advertising
4. Using Free-Reprint Articles
5. Direct Email

You might note that four of these five methods incorporate email in one fashion or another. That is not by mistake. Of course, direct email is the weakest of the four methods employing email. The reason for this weakness is the fear of spam by the recipient of the email. I generally avoid direct email for this very reason. Better safe than sorry I say.

What I am outlining here is a blueprint that all online business persons should strive to accomplish.

First, we must build our website. Our website should serve as a direct sales letter to the buying public. While the website should exist for anyone looking to do business online, it is not the end all for your online business presence. Once the website is ready for the public, it should be submitted to the search engines. Keep in mind, search engines are interested in the words on your site... pictures don't mean a thing to the search engines.

We should then develop an ezine to accompany our website. We should invite all site visitors to subscribe to our ezine as this enables us to create an ongoing conversation with our potential customers. Do not let the ezine become more than a tool to keep contact with your customers. I publish my ezine only once a month so that I may have more time for growing my businesses.

Many folks agree that ezine advertising is one of, if not the most effective way to build your business. You should never simply put an advertisement out there in the market without testing the effectiveness of that ad first. You should also always be sure of the target audience of the ezines you are looking to are the same as your target market if that is possible.

The truth is that you can burn through thousands of dollars in ezine advertising without ever turning a single sale. To be sure of the effectiveness of your ads before spending money for the advertisement, you might want to consider using a ad tracking service to determine the worth of your ads before plunking down the money for your advertising.

An interesting and effective technique for tapping into the value of ezine advertising without blowing the bank is to use Free-Reprint Articles to open the door to ezines.

The truth is that most publishers do not have the time or energy to create all of their own content. As a result, most of them turn to article lists and sites to find the content they feel would be attractive to their readers. Free-Reprint Rights is the key here. Most online publishers are running on a very tight budget and cannot afford to buy the content they publish.

In the Free-Reprint market, there are a number of large lists that provide an excellent assortment of articles that carry the Free-Reprint rights. One example is called *Free Ezine Content* and can be subscribed to by sending a blank email to: mailto:FreeEzineContent-subscribe@topica.com. Another group is *Free Reprint Articles* at YahooGroups. Send an email to: mailto:Free-Reprint-Articles-subscribe@yahoogroups.com for your free subscription.

Tapping into the Free-Reprint market is easy. The trick to getting your articles published is being able to teach your readers something of value and being able to do so in an easygoing article style that folks will read and enjoy.

Providing your are successful in teaching the readers something of value in an interesting manner, then you will find your articles getting published regularly, even in the larger ezines.

Through the use of articles to promote your business, you will be selling yourself first and then your business. The resource box that follows every article is like a small classified ad that tells who you are, what you do, and where to be able to reach you or your business. The resource box is best kept to under 6 lines of 65 characters in length.

Your resource box is your advertisement in the ezine. Ironically, readers will read an article and visit the website of an author well before they read an advertisement posted in the same ezine.

As your articles get reprinted again and again, you will begin to see for yourself the promise of Free-Reprint Articles coming to life for you and your business. Your site traffic and sales will continue to grow as you continue to build your all-important name recognition in the market place.

Do Your Words Need Protection

Writen by Cathy Goodwin

Recently, attending a local event, I found myself chatting with a young woman I'll call Pearl. When she learned I was a writer she asked, "I wrote some poems when I was younger and I would like to copyright them. What should I do?"

"You always own the copyright to your work," I explained. "Technically, you can sue someone who copies your work, even if you haven't registered the copyright. The problem is proving it's your work.

"The real question," I added, "is whether these poems have market value. Unless you can sell them for money, or you need these poems for a portfolio, you may not have a serious concern."

Web guru Tom Antion once said the web is a place to share our ideas, not be overly concerned with protecting them. Someone "borrowed" your ebook? Well, if you've done it right, each page has links to your site, so they may be doing you a favor.

When I write articles for my ezine and website, I want them circulated widely -- with my name, URL and resource box. These articles are written to bring visitors to my websites. However, when I write for a print resource, or when a paying site uses my work, I want to get paid -- and I don't want to be copied.

Bottom Line: When your writing is integrated into your business strategy, you design the level of protection that best fits your long-term goals. Then, and only then, you ask, "How do I get there?"

Online Paid Surveys Internet Jackpot Or Petty Cash

Writen by Joseph Melki

Type the phrase "paid surveys" in Google, and you will see a countless list of paid survey web sites. Some claim $150/hr payment, others say it's the perfect work at home job, while others say online paid surveys are just a scam. With all of these conflicting links, it's hard to know what to believe. Are online paid surveys an Internet Jackpot, an online scam, or somewhere in between? Are you missing a great opportunity or should you stay away?

The first thing that you must understand is that market research is a real business. Market Research firms have been paying customers to take surveys and participate in focus groups long before the internet was a household commodity. It's just that with the increasing number of people online, the internet has become an effective and efficient way for marketing companies to collect data and test their advertisements. Also the internet gives these market research firms access to a wide demographic of users, which allows them to get a better idea of how their products will perform with people of different age, sex, nationality, etc.

Unfortunately, many questionable sites have popped up on the internet which has ruined the image on online paid surveys. These sites usually make outrageous claims about how much money you can make by working from home. They usually charge a "membership fee" to gain access to a list of web sites that conduct online paid surveys. They claim that their lists are special, and offer the highest paying surveys. But the truth is that the survey sites they list can be found for free on the internet. Legitimate market research firms do not charge panel members any fees or try to sell you any products. With a little research you can find all of the quality market research firms yourself. Also, there are several good sites on the internet that offer free reviews and listings. You should never have to pay for information or access to online paid surveys.

Assuming that you manage to avoid the scams, and stick with legitimate market research firms, the question remains is it really worth the time? The answer lies in your expectations. If you are looking for the perfect work at home dream job, this is not it. If you would be happy with an extra couple hundred dollars a month then read on.

The typical pay for any given survey varies, but most offer between $2 to as high as $50 or more per survey. The problem is that these firms are usually looking for a certain demographic, and you may not always qualify for all the paid surveys that are sent your way. These survey invitations are usually sent to you via an email, with details about the incentive offered, and a link to the survey. Usually you are asked to fill out a short screener survey, and if you qualify then you can continue on and earn the full amount promised. If you do not qualify, you are dismissed, with some sites offering a small incentive or a sweepstakes entry for your time. The screener survey usually takes less than 5 minutes, and the full survey can take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes.

If you sign up with several quality market research firms, and can qualify for several surveys, you should be able to make anywhere from $50 to several hundred dollars a month for the household petty cash piggy bank. It's not exactly a fortune, but it can help offset some of your monthly bills, and it only takes a couple hours a week.

Joe Melki is the owner of Online Paid Surveys - Free Paid Survey Reviews, a web site that offers free reviews of Online Market Research firms that offer paid surveys.

Internet Marketing Audio Secret Lets You Avoid Dealkilling Contracts

Writen by Michael Senoff

Whenever I teach people how to create instant Internet audio products simply by calling and interviewing an expert, recording it and then uploading it online, people always ask about the legal aspects of this.

They want to know what kind of contract I use, what kind of lawyer to consult, and how to make sure the expert is okay with me recording and using the information.

But the truth is, I don't get anything in writing. And certainly not a contract.

I'm not saying you shouldn't get a contract, but I personally never do.

Some people would say you should get a contract that says you can record and sell their information, but I find if you ask someone to sign this contract it's hard to get it. And I just do it over the phone where I have the person's verbal consent. That way it is in a real relaxed format.

You simply say, "We have to take care of some details, and just so you know, I'm recording the call and I have your permission to record it, and I may use it on my website. I may sell it down the road. So, I'm also going to give you a copy and you will also have the rights to promote your product or yourself with it when it's done. Is that alright with you?"

See what I mean? I have to have any refuse that offer.

Bottom line:

You certainly can use a contract and all that -- it's your choice -- but all I do is get their agreement, and their consent right over the phone. It's a verbal contract. And I've never had any kind of problem in all these years.

Resale Rights And List Building

Writen by Ken Mathie

You have heard it said a million times before. The only way to make money online is to build your list. This doesn't mean to build a list of people who have bought for you. It means to build a list of potential customers. The question is how do you do this? Actually the first question you should be asking is why do you do this?

The reason why is not always obvious to Internet marketers. They think that the purpose of putting up their sales page or web site is to make a sale. Well, yes and no. Of course you want to make a sale because ultimately that is how you make your money. But how you go about making that sale will help determine just how successful you're going to be.

The problem with trying to sell somebody directly is that they don't know you and have no reason to trust you. Here you are trying to persuade them to buy your product or sign up for your program. With all the mistrust on the Internet, this isn't very likely. But there is a way to make this process a lot easier if you just build your list instead of trying to sell something to these people.

So just how do you do that? Well, there are a number of ways. The best way is to offer somebody something for free, like a report. If you're putting together a resale rights package of a certain kind of lead generation system that you are trying to tell people will bring them visitors to their site, what you may want to do is create what is called a lead capture page to send them to instead of to your sales page. Tell them that they can have a free report sent directly to their email box that will explain to them why most forms of Internet advertising are ineffective and why YOUR system is so good. In the report itself you can explain the various forms of advertising such as safelists, FFA posting, classified ads, etc. Point out the problems with each. Make sure you do your research on this so the info you give is indeed factual. Don't give your opinion. Back everything up with facts.

You might want to make the series itself a number of emails. The more, the better. You want to give these people as much info as you can. This way, over time, you will get them to trust you. Once they have done that they are more likely to purchase from you than if you simply sent them to a sales page.

Doing this is not a difficult process at all. What you do is create the email series, subscribe to an auto responder service, and load this series into your auto responder. The next thing you do is create a lead capture page which makes the person know about your free report. Some auto responder companies actually have templates already built in to do this where you just plug in the title of your page and they take care of the rest. When a person is directed to this page they will have to fill out a form to opt in. The company will then send them a confirmation email which they have to answer. After they do this they will begin getting the series delivered to them.

This is just one of many ways to build your list. Another thing you could do is actually present them with a one time offer on your page where they can maybe download a free book or piece of software to use. Once they have done this, which you will handle by requiring them to again fill out a form to get the download, you will then have them as part of your list. You can then from time to time send them offers. If they liked what they downloaded for free, there is a good chance that they will buy the products that you are presenting to them. Again, it all comes down to trust.

Just use a little imagination and you should have no trouble coming up with ways to build your own in house list.

5 Step Guide To Your Own Online Business

Writen by Bryce Holt

Why Your Method?

It's free, It WORKS. It's a GREAT way for the beginner to earn money online. It's simply a quick, cost effective and proven method for the average person to create a money making Internet business that generates real revenue.

And it only takes about an hour or two to complete, at no cost to you. My guide will take you step by step through the process, and in the end you will have a fully functional online business that will start earning you money today.

If you have basic computer skills, and an internet connection, I will show you how to get started.

You've probably noticed already you're not seeing a lot of marketing hype. No GET RICH QUICK!, DON'T MISS THIS EXCITING OPPORTUNITY, etc., etc., blah, blah, blah. That's because I'm not a salesman, I'm not pitching a scheme, and although you will see some offers in my guide, you don't need to purchase a thing from me to make this work.

Not that long ago I decided to start up my own online business, so I starting doing my research. Holy buckets! there is some useful information out there but who can find it amongst all the scams and junk? That's right SCAMS and JUNK, if you don't get completely ripped off you're bound to at the very least waste your time, money & expectations on programs that just don't work.

I eventually succeeded, but it sure seems like I had to do everything the hard way until I found what worked. In this guide I am going to show you how to do it MY way. In most areas I'm not going to be providing a lot of different options, after wading through all the different scams, when I did find legitimate opportunities I found myself overwhelmed by the sheer amount of information. So we're going to keep things simple and straightforward here.

So why am I giving this away for free?

The first reason is that just like you I want to make a little extra income on the side to enjoy a better life. I profit from this site through advertising and referrals. See that ad to the left? I can earn anywhere from a few pennies to a couple of dollars if it's a real good one when you click it. Then there's the links I provide you in the guide. You can go directly to the provider of course, but if you reach them through this web site I earn a small commission on anything you might buy, but you don't pay a cent more. And I'm going to show you how to earn money doing the exact same thing with my advice, my links and my free site template.

The second reason I'm giving this information away free is simple, I want to make a better income and expand my business, but I want to go about it the right way, and to be proud of the things I do in my life. I'm just somebody from a simple background who didn't have a lot of education, but fell in love with technology and picked up an entrepreneur bug at an early age. However as I grew wiser and more successful I never lost sight of my core values & beliefs. It disgusts me to see online marketers flat out lie and cheat there way to riches at the expense of people like us, especially when in the extensive amount of research I've done that seems to be the norm rather than the exception. A little bit of revenge? Maybe, but how sweet is it if you and I make a few extra k a year while costing the real scammers millions?

So, now that you know a little about me and how I operate, if you're interested and have an hour, go through the five steps and you'll be surprised how easy it really is to get started. This is the step in my guide where I am probably going to save you the most amount of grief, anguish, and money. Although your choice of domain name can be one of the most critical decisions you make, you don't have to be overly concerned about it right this minute and it certainly shouldn't stop you from getting started. I'll explain this further in a little bit.

In this step you will select a name for your online business and a place to host it on the Internet. If you don't have a web page yet, don't worry, I am going to give you one in step 2. If you don't have anything to sell I'm going to give you that too. You WILL have an online business after going through the 5 steps on this site.

Name and host, sounds like 2 steps right? Not really, you'll accomplish both at the same time. This is also the ONLY part of the guide that costs you any money. Please note that I am not selling you anything, you simply need to signup with a provider and I am going to direct you to the least expensive choice, offering the most bang for your buck around. You can apply the rest of the guide using a free hosting provider, but I recommend not wasting your time

Step One.

Pick a name. You probably already have one in mind, write down a couple of variations in case it's already taken. A domain name should reflect what your site or business provides, but if it's taken or not a good fit, or you just have a brain freeze check out some interesting band, business, people or place names to inspire a memorable name.

Now, go to 1&1 Internet and sign up. I've used LOTS of hosts in the past and 1&1 is the best thing going. Cheap, reliable and loaded with features, they are the best deal around. This site and all my sites and businesses are hosted there

You can search for your desired domain name on the front page, or just start the signup process and they will walk you through it. I recommend for those just getting started to select the 1&1 Linux Beginner Package, this is just $2.99 and will serve your needs for now, I cannot stress enough that you will not find a better hosting package for less than 3 bucks a month. The best part is 1&1 gives you a free domain name with every package, if you're like me and once you get started with this and the ideas really start flowing, you think of the PERFECT domain name the next day, simply upgrade for $2 and you get another free name plus a ton of new features & space.

We'll get into how to design your site in the next step, but I want to talk briefly about logos here. Once you have a catchy name you need an equally impressive logo. I've paid for logo design in the past and although pleased with the results, I've discovered I can make my own logos and web graphics VERY easily using The Logo Creator. The Logo Creator enables even the novice to create professional looking logos and all kinds of web graphics with ease. Trust me you don't have to be a graphic artist to create slick Photoshop quality art & graphics for your site for less than it costs you to get just one image professionally designed. This is probably one of the best tools I've ever purchased, I HIGHLY recommend it.

Step Two - Start Designing your Site.

There are a lot of sources out there that will sell you web site templates to fit any need or niche and many of them are quite good if a bit pricey. I've learned in my experience creating many new sites that even when I have enough content, links, graphics and ideas to fill a 50 page site, I inevitably spend many frustrating weeks actually designing a professional looking site around them. Hours and hours of getting the right consistent look & feel, tediously creating tables and aligning things just so, I was spending all my time doing graphic design beating my head against the wall because I'm neither an artist or nor a professional web designer. Simple lesson finally learned, and once I accepted it I was about 10 times more productive, focusing on my ideas, products and content.

So unless you are a professional designer, I highly recommend starting with a professionally designed template. Here you will find the next big money saving tip in this guide. If you have a very specific or very custom design in mind, search for just that right template or contract artist and be prepared to pay for it. If you just need a professionally designed template to get you started, one that you can tweak to fit your needs, consider the PREMIUM TEMPLATE PACK.

With this package you get over 75 sites for the price of one, and realistically will use at least a handful of those you find appealing for different projects you decide to create after getting your first business online. HUGE bonus, you can also legally provide these to customers in need of a web site, and even resell them as templates. Check out this impressive collection, EACH TEMPLATE HAS A FLASH HEADER, COMES IN HTML & FLASH VERSION, AND INCLUDES ALL SOURCE FILES (I.E. HTML, FLA, PSDS) AND FONTS.

A companion to the templates is the Header Graphics Package. Within just 3 minutes you can create your own professional header graphics so you will never have to pay a professional again and it is so easy that anybody who can type can do it.

If you need EVEN MORE templates and designs, visit Template Monster.

To get you started for now though I am going to provide you with a fully functional website/business. The Work From Home template is a simple yet professional design that you can easily modify to fit your needs.

You can see the site live here, and download the files to build your own here.

Once you've downloaded the files you can very easily modify the index.htm file to create your own unique page. Using any web page editor (one could even use notepad it's that easy) just replace the 4 unique items with your own.

The Work From Home site is a complete 6 page site, featuring 5 targeted articles to attract your customer, 4 related products that you earn commision on, approximately 8 built in ads consisting of 30 links that you get paid for with every click. When you upload this site to your web host you start earning money immediately without any more cost to you.

Feel free to use and modify the template, it's a great way for you to get started. We'll discuss the advertising and affiliate programs more a little later.

Step Three - Adding Content.

Now you should add some content of your own to the site to draw visitors in, remember that you can earn money through targeted advertising links on every page of content you provide.

There are a several "ezines" or article directories online that let you "reprint" their content. It's a good deal for both you (the publisher) and for the author for the exposure it provides them. The flip side is the sheer amount of time it takes to find quality articles, go through the hoops necessary to obtain rights to distribute them, the cost if they are truly unique & popular, and the amount of labor for you if you (and you should) update frequently. If you are only interested in providing some "basic" content related to your site or business, or if you are developing for varied interests and multiple businesses the Ad Rich Content Site can get you up and running quickly.

You can browse the site and copy articles (yes, most are free to use) or purchase the entire package. The key word here is "target". Who is your target audience? The Ad Rich Content site is a super quick and easy source of articles that are highly targeted to your business, and that is where you will generate interest and make revenue.

Another way to generate revenue and build traffic is to offer e-Books on your site. An e-Book is an electronic book that you can open and read by using your computer. Induce others to link to your web site by offering them e-Books or one of your own products. The more links you have pointing to your web site, the higher you'll rank on the major search engines (and the more targeted traffic you'll get) Go to eBookDeal.net and choose from hundred of e-Books in 20 different categories.

Acquiring more content:

If you have a product-based site, your suppliers can be a terrific source of content. A few of their product product photos with vendor descriptions can be placed along side your own content and articles.

Bear in mind, authorities and experts in a given field are often seeking exposure, which you can provide them. Find an article published online that contains content related to your industry and ask for permission to "reprint" it on your site. The trick is to identify complimentary, not competing materials. And it's out there.

Creating or finding content for your site is not as hard as it sounds. Think about it. Every product or service solves a problem for the consumer. Find related content that someone else has already written.

To get started for now simply select articles from the free content site that relate to your product or business then cut and paste them into the free template provided.

Step Four - Getting Paid.

Soon you can start to customize the products and advertising on your site, but first you'll need accounts with Google and Amazon to duplicate the items in the template. Don't worry though, signing up with both are free and easy.

Wouldn't it be great if you could find advertising that really works? Something for your web site, that didn't require any maintenance, and provided you with detailed earnings reports?

Google AdSense is a fast and easy way for website publishers of all sizes to display relevant Google ads on their website's content pages and earn money.

It's also a way for website publishers to provide Google web and site search to their visitors, and to earn money by displaying Google ads on the search results pages.

Signing up for Google AdSense is free and just takes a few minutes. The free template from this guide uses Adsense ads throughout and you can start earning money from clicks the minute you put your new site online.

Now that you have ad revenue from your site you should have some actual products to sell. Amazon Associates program will help you do just that with no worrying about orders, inventory or customer service. The free template incorporates 4 targeted products through Amazon. You'll need to sign up for their associates program, then you can add or modify the products listed to meet your needs.

The Amazon Associates program was the first online affiliate program of its kind when it launched in 1996. Today, it is the largest and most successful online affiliate program, with over 1,000,000 members world-wide. If you are a Web site owner, Amazon seller, or Web developer, you can start earning money today and earn up to 10% in referral fees.

Get started by clicking the graphic below, and click on "Join Associates" at the very bottom of Amazon's page to sign up.

Google and Amazon will both provide you with your own affiliate or partner ID that you can replace in the template. They will also create the code for you to completely customize the look and scope of your site.

Step Five - Promote Your Business.

If you've completed the first four steps, congratulations! You will want to continue to develop and expand your business of course, but at this point you have a functioning site that is making money through advertising and commissions. And as promised, your only expense was a nominal fee for quality web hosting. Now you just need to attract visitors to your site.

Quick Start Advertising:

Here is my favorite first method for the beginner to get started earning ads and traffic. InstantBuzz is a free toolbar application you download for free. It's a single line bar that displays simple text ads while you surf. InstantBuzz is not spy or ad ware. For every page you surf to you earn credits to have your own ads displayed automatically. After a very simple setup procedure it runs automatically and requires no more of your time.

Link Exchange:

AutoLinkManager simplifies the entire link exchange process, making your life a lot easier. It integrates link exchange services and link exchange software into a single system that allows you to exchange links with any member in the directory, manage incoming link exchange requests, build a categorized directory and publish your link pages to your web hosting.

Create your first link to your site/business here for free!

Free Link Exchange Software and Automate Link Swap Service Offers free link swap service, link trade directory, reciprocal link exchange software that auto updates your link pages and complete link exchange.

Site Directories:

Instead of fighting the explosive growth of the Internet, the Premier Directory provides the means for the Internet to organize itself. The Premier Directory Project is one of the largest, most comprehensive human-edited directory of the Web. It is constructed and maintained by many volunteer editors. Free Web Directory - Human edited web directory, submit your website free, PremierDirectory.org

Classified Ads:

Another method is to place free classified ads. PressMania is a new classified site where you can place your ads with pictures in your local area. You can sell without your own website. You can even setup your own free store and sell your products or services directly from their website.

Miscellaneous Ideas:

Put your website address, for example www.bestnameever.com, on everything you print. Including, business cards, letterhead, invoices, etc.

Get more than one domain name for your business. Of course you should get your business name, but also get a domain name that includes keywords related to your business or service.

Most email programs let you have a "signature" that is automatically added to all the messages that you send. Be sure that you put your website address in your signature.

Get an email address that looks like: yourname@yourdomain.com. 1and1 packages include a mail server and hundreds of addresses for you to use.

Put your URL on any promotional items. Make a coffee cup, t-shirt or calendar and be sure it has your web address on it.

Regularly add new content to your website. Go back to the Content Site and you'll find articles on just about any subject imaginable.

Search Engine Optimization:

Make sure your site is properly submitted to search engines. This can be very tedious and overwhelming unless you have a tool designed to automate the process for you, I recommend Hello Engines! Pro.

Bonus Software

BestNameEver provides the best Internet software available for our customers to make the Internet experience a more fulfilling one. A professional line of search tool products, security software, and Internet quality enhancement programs.

Quite honestly I believe it is a down to earth honest, sincere approach that that wins customers over and makes return sales. How You Can Make Your Ad Command Attention

Writen by Ronald Gibson

There are lots of ads for lots of product out there , so it is very easy for your ad to get lost in the shuffle. To avoid this, you must do all that you can do to make sure that your ad gets noticed. Here are some things that you can do to ensure that your ad commands attention.

1. Place colorful graphs, pie charts and other charts in your ad copy. Use charts that will grab a person's eye and also support your product claims. For example, if you are selling a product that boosts website traffic, a screenshot of your site's traffic stats can be very effective.

2. Highlight buying incentives like free bonuses and money back guarantees. You could place them in boxes or in front of a different colored background.

3. Use short sentences or sentence fragments in the body of your ad copy. A short burst of words can catch a skimmer's eye with one quick glance.

4. Highlight all the important keywords and phrases in your ad copy. You could use bolding, underlining and color to highlight the important words. I see keywords both bolded and highlited in yellow in many ads nowadays.

5. Always remember that we live in a visual world. Place attention grabbing pictures above and within your ad copy. A powerful technique is to use before and after pictures of people using your product.

6. Use a headline that catches the attention of your target audience. One of the most effective ways is to use a free offer as your headline. The "shocking claim" headline can also be effective, provided that you can back up your claim, of course.

7. Make your ad's keywords and phrases stand out by enlarging the text. This technique works wonders with headlines and sub headlines.

8. Make your products list of benefits and features stand out by using a symbol in front of each of them. The symbol could be a dash, solid circle, star, etc.

9. Use sub headlines to break up your ad copy andto capture a skimmers eye. You could make them even more powerful by highlighting them with color.

10. Use attention grabbing adjectives to describe your product. For example sizzling, incredible, high power, ultramodern, killer, eye popping, etc. But, be careful not to overdo it.

Using the above methods should dramatically improve the chances that your ad will get noticed by potential customers. And that is the first step to ultimately making the sale.

Internet Marketing The Easy Way To Make Money

Writen by Denise Clement

Some 8 months ago, my brother in law returned from America singing the praises of a course he had been on which had given him the knowledge to be able to reach a number one ranking for any keyword within Google and all the other major search engines. Happy days I thought! I could foresee the end of years being a civil servant and listening to bosses who thought the unimportant things in life were actually important! Money it seemed actually did grow on trees – all it took to do this would be a couple of months hard work between my husband and my brother in law and I and we'd be raking the cash in – how easy is that? In my own mind I had already decided that giving up work wasn't that far away, picked the colour of the sports car I was going to have and decided on Portugal for that luxury villa.

We researched the market and settled on our first internet business, realising the potential income from being a number one ranked site in Google or any other search engine.

So far so good! We submitted our site mid April and it was indexed not long after – next stage completed without delay. It was then that the hold ups started to occur – suddenly the so called 'sandbox' effect kicked in – we'd heard about this before but never knew how it could affect us – ah well 2-4 months seemed to be the length of time we'd be sandboxed but we looked at this philosophically and saw it as an opportunity to get links from other websites and ensure a high ranking on our "release" from the infamous sandbox.

We are now 6 months down the line and patience is definitely the keyword - we secured a PR3 at the last Google update in July and hope to be at least a five at the next one – our on page and off page optimization is what is required and our link building strategy is ongoing – for all of you people who think link building is easy think again – it's laborious and frustrating as in our experience you get one link for every three or four requests you send.

I still hold the optimism that our site will take off and eventually rank very highly in all of the search engines. I think we have learnt to be more patient and more forward thinking – crawl before you walk! However, for the 'easy to make money out of it' syndrome it certainly is not and all of you new internet marketers out there be prepared for the long haul!

I'll keep you posted!

Pay Per Click Seo Amp Article Marketing Which Method Should You Choose

Writen by Dale King

There's no question, the three most popular ways to drive targeted traffic to your website are pay per click advertising, SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and article marketing. And if you're on a limited budget like most marketers, you need to know the answers to the following three critical questions:

1. Which of the three methods work the best?

2. Which of the three methods should you use?

3. Which of the three methods is the most cost effective?

In this article, I'm going to answer all three of those questions and then give you my recommendation.

Let's examine the most popular of the three marketing methods first, pay per click advertising:

Pay Per Click advertising is a huge, multi-billion dollar a year industry and are huge cash cows for both Google and Yahoo. There is no faster way to drive targeted traffic to your website than with a ppc advertising campaign.

For instance, with Google Adwords, you can literally be driving targeted traffic to your website and making money in just a matter of minutes.

Does ppc advertising work? Yes and no. For some, it works extremely well. For the vast majority however, ppc advertising simply leads to frustration and money down the drain.

So, what's the problem? Actually, there are several problems:

Inexperienced marketers who don't have a clue about how to write ads that will enable them to get the most out of their ppc advertising campaign.

Exorbitant keyword costs.

Click fraud.

Because of the "pie in the sky" climate of Internet marketing, many marketers have a fatal "get rich click" mentality, because of what they've read in some e-book.

They want instant gratification...that magic pill if you will!

They're not interested in taking the time to learn how to do things the right way. So, they throw a bunch of money at a ppc ad campaign, fall flat on their face and then come away convinced that Internet marketing doesn't work and is nothing but a scam.

Exorbitant keyword costs is another huge problem. While doing research for this article, I visited Yahoo/Overture to price the popular keyword, "Internet marketing."

This is what I discovered. At the time this article was written, if you wanted the #1 position, it would cost you $2.51 per click. Ouch! Just to be listed last on the first page at #31, it would cost you 95 cents per click. Double ouch!!

Needless to say, you have to be one of the "big boys" to play over at Yahoo's sandbox.

The keyword "Internet marketing" was much more reasonably priced over at Google. The minimum bid was only 10 cents.

That price isn't bad. But then you have to contend with another huge problem that could potentially eat away at your profits... click fraud.

It is estimated that 30 percent of all ppc clicks are fraudulent. In fact, according to the June 28 issue of the San Jose Mercury News, both Google and Yahoo recently had to settle class action lawsuits regarding this very issue.

Google has to refund an estimated $90 million to advertisers. There is no word yet on the exact amount Yahoo has to refund, although they are liable for $4.95 million in attorneys fees alone.

When you consider the billions of dollars both companies make from their ppc programs, the settlements amount to litle more than pocket change.

Search Engine Optimization is another popular method marketers use to drive targeted traffic to their websites. Should you optimize your website? Yes, definitely. SEO does work. However, I personally don't think you need to invest thousands of dollars in SEO. Here's why:

With the ever-changing algorithms of search engines, you could spend big money on SEO that may put you at the very top of the search engines today, and then with one major algorithm change, you could drop completely off the charts tomorrow. (Remember Florida?)

Instead, I think you should focus on SEO basics like keyword density, title description, meta tags and acquiring plenty of inbound links.

You should also diversify your efforts to make sure you're receiving traffic from sources other than search engines. You never want to put all of your eggs into one basket. Which brings us to our third and final marketing method:

Article Marketing: Writing articles is quickly becoming the most popular way to drive targeted traffic to your website.

The reason I like article marketing so much is because it's free, and also because articles are viral. If you write articles and allow them to be freely published, your articles become viral, meaning your articles can actually spread like a virus and have the potential to be viewed by millions (yes millions) of Internet users.

And because search engines love articles you can expect to get linked to by many high-profile websites, thereby increasing your PR (Page Rank) and traffic as well.

There's also another important by-product of article marketing: Credibility.

Other than testimonials from well known expert marketers, writing articles is the quickest way to establish credibility online.

If you write good, quality content, not only will your articles get published regularly, but they will also brand you as an expert in your field, which will instantly enhance your reputation and bottom line tremendously.

Don't know how to write? No problem. Hire an affordable ghostwriter over at elance.com.

In closing, all three methods of marketing discussed in this article today work. To what degree however, will obviously depend on the experience, work ethic and ingenuity of the individual marketer.

So, which marketing method should you use?

Because it's both free and viral, article marketing is obviously the most cost-effective of the three methods discussed here today. Therefore, article marketing should be your number one priority.

That said, I also think you should use a combination of all three marketing methods for optimum results.

However, I would caution you to spend your money prudently, in regards to ppc and SEO.

How To Get Massive Free Advertising With Ezines

Writen by Carina MacInnes

For the netrepreneur seeking targeted free and low-cost advertising, ezines are an excellent resource. Using the following strategies you can get hundreds of dollars worth of ezine advertising on an ongoing basis, absolutely for free. You can also use these resources to structure an advertising campaign to fit your budget.

Before you get started, make sure you set up a special email address just for your ezine subscriptions - this will be very important to help you stay organized. Be careful about using a web-based email account, if you go out of town or miss a few days, there's a chance it might fill up too quickly. If your emails start bouncing, your ads will not run. If you do not have access to a separate email alias from your current ISP and need to set up a free web-based account, it's best to use one with a large amount of storage space, such as:

http://gawab.com

To get started with your free ezine advertising campaign, first visit:

http://subscribeme.net

This is a free service you can use once every three months to get your classified out to over one million subscribers.

Submitting your classified to the service above is just the beginning of your new free advertising strategy. When you use this service, you will be automatically subscribed to many excellent ezines. A number of them offer free weekly classifieds to subscribers, so your next step is to read through the ezines, looking for the directions provided as to how and where to submit your next free classified.

If you're the organized type, here's where you might start making note of which ezines offer ongoing free ads, and tracking your ad submissions. After your ad is published, you can record it's publication date also.

Each ezine will have different specifications for the size of your classified. You will need to format your ad to a certain amount of characters per line, and a certain amount of lines. It will help if you set up a text file with multiple versions of your ad formatted to the varying guidelines. There are several great resources you can use you can use to make sure each line is a certain amount of characters. You can use this online text editor, simply enter your ad copy and specify the number of characters per line:

http://formatit.com

Or you can download this free software (NoteTab Light) and format the characters per line on your computer:

http://notetab.com

Next, you can find more ezines which offer free ads, some only for new subscribers, others on a regular basis.

The links below contain ezines which offer free advertising:

http://www.ezines-r-us.com/freeadvertising.htm
http://ebizwhiz-publishing.com/ezines2.htm

You can also search through various ezine directories to find more ezines to subscribe to, such as:

http://www.ezinelisting.com/index.html
http://www.internetmarketing-success.com/email-marketing/ezine-directories.htm

Now that you're subscribed to a wide variety of ezines and have your ongoing free classified ads, you have another great opportunity to get even more high quality free advertising, such as free banner ads, top and bottom sponsor ads, solos, and more. As you take the time each day to go through your subscription inbox, you will find tons of contests you can enter to win advertising.

If you take the time to diligently enter every contest, you may find yourself winning high quality free advertising once or twice a week!

Another great benefit of being subscribed to multiple ezines and actively reading them is that you will sometimes find the publishers sending specials and discounted advertising rates straight to your inbox that you would not have access to if you had just ordered an ad without subscribing.

You can track the results of all of your ads to test different ad copy and see what is pulling the most, and which of your ezines are performing the best. This will give you a real headstart when you want to order some paid advertising.

Subscribing to many ezines is an excellent business strategy for gaining ongoing free advertising, winning additional free advertising, testing your ad copy, discovering which ezine subscribers are most receptive to your offer, and accessing valuable discounted advertising rates. So subscribe, and invest a few minutes to go through your inbox daily. Your attention will pay off. The time you spend will be a worthy investment.

Stop struggling - get a massive flow of never ending ultra-targeted search engine traffic effortlessly. Try this guaranteed, revolutionary pay on results marketing service if you want to make an extra $100,000 in the next four months - from whatever website you are promoting: http://100kmorethantraffic.com

21 Simple Ways To Make More Money From Your Current Clients Part 3

Writen by Teri Mramer

It is easier to make additional money from your current clients than it is to go out and find new ones! See 21 simple ways in this three part article series.

Part Three:

15. Follow-up with your customers to see if they're happy and offer them another product.

Use your autoresponder script or subscription to send a follow up message 2-3 days after they have purchased and make sure they are happy with the product.

Some examples of this type of account or script are: Getresponse or AWeber, for examples of an autoresponder company.

Or a self-installed script like a custom version of QuickPayPro, which has the sequential autoresponders plus the shopping cart etc., or a simpler script like Autoresponders Unlimited if all you need is the autoresponder part and not the full shopping cart.

Another thing to add in the message to make sure they are using the product (Especially an ebook) is to ask how they liked a specific chapter's information. With software, it could be a specific feature or action the software performs.

For example, with an ebook you could say, "So how are you enjoying that tip in chapter 4? Did you save as much money as I did when I used this method?"

They will have to go to the ebook and see - especially if you can add something like the part where I said "did you SAVE as much money as I did?"!

How will they know:

a.) What you did
b.) How much you saved
c.) What the method was

Unless they read the book?

16. Offer people a free sample of your product and tell them they will get a discount if they order now.

For an ebook it could be the first couple of chapters or chapters that don't give away all your "secrets". For software it could be a 30 trial or a version of the software that doesn't have all of the features enabled.

17. Send your customers a "thank you" e-mail with a back end offer attached.

Send this one immediately or 1 day after purchase. Remember the follow up email asking how they like the product/ebook/software/video, etc. will be going out on day 3 or 4.

The offer should optimally be related to an enhancement of the product they just purchased. But not the "new and improved" version of the same product!

More like selling tea pot covers to tea pot buyers, bookmarks to book buyers and video viewing software to video buyers... get it?

18. Offer your customers add-on products like gift wrapping, batteries, imprinting, etc.

Think about complimentary items that enhance your items such as:

* Presentation or looks

* Ease of Use

* Beauty

* Features

* Speed

* Bells and Whistles

* Longevity

* Widen Appeal to larger group of people

* Emotional Attachment (Personalization)

And so on.

19. Allow your customers the option of signing up to your "future product offers list".

I know some online business persons who have a "Early Bird" notice list. Subscribers get notified early of these special members' only deals!

They are basically asking you to tell them when they can buy the next product (or affiliate product / recommendation) from you! Who would want to turn that down?

20. Explain to people that for extra money, they can extend the guarantee or warranty of the product.

This is self explanatory for anyone who has ever been to Sears, Best Buy or Circuit City! Every single purchase you make from those stores comes with an offer of an extended warranty. It is the easiest way to increase your profits by 10% that I know of!

21. Give rewards instead of money for ezine referrals.

There are scripts that you can install that will do this for people who send you referrals for your ezine or site. It tracks the clicks and the subsequent hits by the same person to the thank you page.

Obviously they signed up if they go from the sales page to the thank you page - right?

Then it would record the referrer and every month (or quarter, etc.) you can give rewards, bonuses, or commissions to the top 5 or 10 referrers. Don't run it like an affiliate program where everyone gets the reward, you should already have an affiliate program in place. No, run this like a contest to build up the competitiveness of it!

You want them WORKING to send you people so they are in the top 5 or whatever you set as your payout levels.

Well, that's it, 21 Simple Ways you can Make More Money from your Current Clients.

If you have any other ways, send them to me and I will post them in the Ebooks for Ebusiness Blog with your name and your web site link!
